BIO - LUIS M. RODRIGUEZ, Certified Sommelier
Our Sommelier, Luis Rodriguez, is a native of the Dominican Republic. Luis was first introduced to the world of wine at a young age when his father needed his wine cellar inventoried before moving to the USA. He’s been a wine enthusiast ever since.
Luis has worked for some of the best restaurants and hotels from the Virgin Islands to New England to South Carolina, and has achieved certifications as a wine professional from America’s most respected organizations. He is a Certified Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, Certified Wine Professional by the Wine Spectator School and a Beverage Professional by the Educational Institute of the American Hotel & Motel Association.
His educational style is simple. Beginners to experts alike agree!
